Fawn MacInnis is a Registered Social Worker with over a decade of experience supporting individuals, couples, first responders, and other frontline professionals through life’s challenges. Her experience spans hospital, community mental health, primary care, and forensic settings, giving her a broad understanding of how trauma, stress, and demanding work can affect both individuals and relationships.
Fawn takes a person-centred, trauma-informed approach, creating a space where clients feel safe, heard, and understood. She draws on evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy, and the Gottman Method for couples, tailoring therapy to each client’s needs and goals.
She supports clients navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, occupational stress, burnout, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. Fawn understands that reaching out for support can be difficult, especially for those who spend their careers caring for others. Her goal is to help clients work through difficult experiences, develop practical coping strategies, strengthen relationships, and reconnect with what matters most.
Fawn believes that healing looks different for everyone. She meets clients where they are and works alongside them to support meaningful change and greater well-being. In addition to clinical work, she provides supervision and consultation to counsellors, therapists, and Registered Psychotherapists (Qualifying), supporting their ongoing professional growth.
